While Polish still remains the main language of academic publications in Poland, funds are mostly allocated to scientists with international background and publications in English. If your research has been published in leading international journals, you’re very likely to be awarded grants from the National Science Centre in Poland and the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education. CogNeS team has extensive experience in an application for funding from the various sources and we will make our best to help you to apply.

For further details on available funding schemas visit:

  • National Science Centre (e.g. PRELUDIUM, ETIUDA, SONATINA funding schemes);
  • National Agency for Academic Exchange (e.g. IWANOWSKA, BEKKER funding schemes)
  • NENS – the Network of European Neuroscience Schools (NENS)  represents over 190 graduate schools and programmes across approximately 30 European countries that offer MSc, PhD and MD-PhD degrees in neuroscience. The graduate programmes registered with NENS and the students of these programmes benefit from NENS membership; find out more here and here.
